About the auction

This Autumn, our Contemporary Online Only auction presents highlights from 60 years of art history, including paintings, sculptures, photography, works on paper and prints.

Among these are a versatile selection of paintings such as Hans Ticha's social satires, a glimpse into Schwontkowski's romantic mind and vividly coloured geometric abstractions by Urs Lüthi. The range is expanded with prints by pop artists Jim Dine, Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol as well as works on paper, such as the large-format "Ahab's Leg" by Frank Stella.

Sculptural works are presented in a variety of ways, for example in the form of Berta Fischer's acrylic glass ornaments or a neon object by Michael Sailstorfer. The offer is complemented by photographs by Josephine Meckseper, Carsten Höller and Kudzanai Chiurai.
