Watercolour and pen and black ink on thin paper, laid down on light cardboard (postcard). 6,3 × 11,2 cm (9,2 × 14,1 cm). (2 ½ × 4 ⅜ in. (3 ⅝ × 5 ½ in.)) On the cardboard below the image of Maria Marc inscribed in pencil: Nickel-Katalog Nachlass Franz Marc – best[ätigt] Maria Marc. On the reverse with the estate stamp confirmed by Maria Marc. There too inscribed in pencil: Fabeltier. Catalogue raisonné: Hoberg/Jansen 274. Supplement: original mat with dedication by Maria Marc: Die allerherzlichsten Glück- und Segenswünsche Ihnen, lieber J[oachim], und Ihrer jungen Frau zu Ihrer Vermählung. Möge Ihr Zusammenleben leicht und nett werden und Ihnen bringen, was Sie selbst wünschen. In herzlichem Gedenken Ihre Maria Marc.  [3134] Framed
