Watercolour over pen and India ink on Japan paper. 25 × 33,6 cm (9 ⅞ × 13 ¼ in.). Signed in pen and black ink lower right: Nolde. On the reverse: Doppelbildnis. Watercolour. Accompanied by a certificate by Dr. Manfred Reuther, Stiftung Seebüll Ada und Emil Nolde, from 17. March 2008 (in copy). The watercolour is as number Fr.A.2807 in the archive of the Stiftung Seebüll Ada und Emil Nolde registered and will be in the catalogue raisonné of watercolours and drawings Emil Noldes included.
