Charcoal and brush in white on laid paper. 22 × 29,4 cm (8 ⅝ × 11 ⅝ in.). Signed lower left: C Pissarro. Catalogue raisonné: Accompanied by a confirmation (in copy) by Joachim Pissarro, London, dated 3 May 1990. On the reverse (turned 180°): Couple sitting under trees (the couple on the right margin repeated). Circa 1855/59. Pencil. Slight foxing.
