Condition Report: Fine, harmonious overall appearance. The sheet edges partially somewhat unevenly trimmed, otherwise without tears or losses. The paper in the mat window with minor time staining, with a narrow light-stain along the edges. To the right of the man's head, a slight crease (3 cm). In places, slight shell-shaped handling creases as well as isolated minuscule brown and light pinpoint foxing. Along the upper sheet edge, browned paper adhesive strip residues (approx. 0,2 cm wide). Along the lower right edge, one short hairline trace of liquid glue (2 cm). On the reverse, the perimeter of the sheet edges with rests of brown paper tape. In the upper corners, various remnants of former mountings, partially pressing through to the front. The sheet remounted in the upper corners with paper adhesive strips onto the support cardboard
