Vintage. Gelatin silver print. Photomontage. 43,3 × 57,2 cm (17 × 22 ½ in.). Laid down on original cardboard (65 × 85,3 cm), thereupon signed in pencil lower right, titled lower left. On the back of the original cardboard inscribed in pencil: "14. April 1945 Luftangriff auf Potsdam". [2048]

Condition Report: Gelatin silver print in very good condition. Matte paper. Blacklight tested, no fluorescence. In the lower right corner, there is a faint vertical scratch line, approx. 4 cm, visible only in raking light. With silvering in the edge area. Original cardboard with heavy signs of wear: lower corners each with a loss. Wavy area at bottom left due to moisture (approx. 5 x 6 cm). Vertical tear at top center, approx. 7.5 cm long, taped at top edge with brown paper tape (approx. 5 cm long). Additional brown paper tape at left edge, approx. 20 cm long. Further faint crease marks, small losses and brownish discoloration in the edges, as well as a few tiny nail holes. Slight abrasion along the top edge, approx. 1 cm wide. Back of the cardboard with foxing and traces of previous mounting with nails in the edges
