Oil on canvas. 47 × 75 cm (18 ½ × 29 ½ in.). Signed, inscribed and dated lower left: C.Felixmüller Berlin 35. Inscribed in pencil on the stretcher: Diese Malerei lag im Schutt meiner zerbombten Wohnung in Berlin-Charlottenburg u wurde von mir wieder restauriert FM [engl.: This painting was found among the rubble of my bombed-out flat in Berlin-Charlottenburg and was restored by me FM]. Catalogue raisonné: Felixmüller 645. [3955] Framed

Condition Report: Fine, harmonious overall appearance. The colours fresh. The canvas is not relined and is mounted on the original stretcher; somewhat loosely mounted. In places minuscule holes; these partially skillfully repaired by the artist. In the upper image area, scattered hairline craquelure. In places, minuscule brownish dirt spots. Under ultraviolet light as well as on the reverse, various repairs and minuscule retouchings by the artist's hand visible. On the reverse, a former motif overpainted by the artist; former signature visible at lower left: C. Felixmüller
