The backing paper with the artist's address stamp, monogrammed, dated, dedicated, inscribed, titled and inscribed in pencil: G 50 Für [...] zur freundlichen Betrachtung von Hermann Weihnacht 1983 [engl.: For [...] for friendly viewing from Hermann Christmas 1983] Johnsbach „Kirche + Kornpuppen“ 180850/I, and signed and inscribed in blue ink: Glöckner Kirche + Puppen (Johansbach) 180850/IV. Catalogue raisonné: Date not covered in the catalogue raisonné by Dittrich. [3180]

Condition Report: Fine, harmonious overall appearance. The colours fresh. The sheet edges as well as the reverse side not visible due to the artist's mounting. The paper, due to the artist's technique and mounting, slightly undulated and slightly time stained. In the lower right corner, one minuscule scratch in the paper surface (1 cm). The painted mat in places with slight scuffs and differences in surface shine. In the lower left corner, two places with slight printing marks and minuscule paint losses. The backing paper wavy due to the adhesive mounting. in the lower corners, remnants of white paper tape
