Watercolour and pencil on paper, laid down on cardboard. 32,3 × 27,2 cm (12 ¾ × 10 ¾ in.). On the reverse, inscribed in pen in brown by Elisabeth Erdmann-Macke, the artist's wife: August Macke Frau auf rotem Stuhl Farbige Zeichnungen Nr. 23. There too in the lower right remains of the estate stamp Lugt 1775b. Catalogue raisonné: Heiderich (watercolours) 159. [3136]
