Gouache on heavy paper. 61,8 × 87,8 cm (24 ⅜ × 34 ⅝ in.). Titled, signed and dated in purple coloured chalk at lower edge: The drinker" Middendorf 82. On the back of the frame with a typographically printed label with work information of Galerie Volker Diehl, Berlin. [3279] Framed

Condition Report: Very fine, harmonious overall appearance. The colours fresh and vibrant. The sheet edges without tears or losses; in a few places with minor nicks and faint creases. The paper slightly wavy due to the artist's technique. On the reverse, in the corners as well as at the centre of the upper edge, remnants of various paper adhesive mountings; here also slight paper thinnings. In the upper corners mounted with paper adhesive strips onto the support cardboard
