Woodcut on buff-coloured wove paper. 30 × 52,5 cm (54,7 × 74,5 cm) (11 ¾ × 20 ⅝ in. (21 ½ × 29 ⅜ in.)). Signed. Catalogue raisonné: Von dem Knesebeck 178 VII b (of VII d). One of 100 numbered copies of this state. Sheet 5 (of 7) from the set: Krieg. Dresden, Verlag Emil Richter, 1923. [3295]

Condition Report: No. B 33/100. Fine, harmonious overall appearance. The sheet edges partially slightly time stained, otherwise without tears or losses. At upper edge left of centre, a faint diagonal crease mark (10 cm) and, in upper right corner, one diagonal handling crease (10 cm). The paper surface overall slightly scuffed. In the lower margin on the right, a pinpoint irregularity in the paper, and on the left, one small, light brown foxing spot bleeding through from the reverse. The lower left corner with one minuscule mounting hole. On the reverse, in places slight, partially coloured scuff marks. The lateral edges, each in the centre with remnants of white paper adhesive strips of a former mount
