Charcoal and pencil on buff-coloured paper. 21 × 29,8 cm (8 ¼ × 11 ¾ in.). Signed, titled and dated in India ink at lower edge: Altenbourg Tal bei Waldenburg 1981. With the artist's blindstamp. Catalogue raisonné: Janda 81/55. The lithograph "Die Flügel der stillen Schonung" of 1983 was based on this drawing (Janda L 179). [3369]

Condition Report: Fine, harmonious overall appearance. The sheet edges without tears or losses. The paper mainly along the edges with minor time staining. In the lower left corner, a barely noticeable crease mark (2,5 cm); there as well as at the lower right edge, faint traces from the artist's workshop and fingerprints. In the lower left area of the sheet, one tiny stain with a minuscule hole. On the reverse, in places slight traces from the artist's workshop
