Cake-shaped brooch for Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom (1819-1901) on the occasion of the second birthday of her daughter Victoria, the Princess Royal (1840-1901) on 21st November 1842. 1842

Embossed and chased gold; turned gold wire; 10 freshwater pearls, garnet. 2,3 cm; Ø 4,6 cm ( ⅞ in.; Ø 1 ¾ in.). Engraved on the reverse: From Albert / Nov. 21 1842. Total weight: 22 g.
