About the exhibition
All vision begins with the translation of millions of pieces of information that reach our eyes and are transmitted to the brain at breakneck speed. To turn vision into understanding, we process the information. We build thematic maps, define the contours, organise what we see and put it into context.
Based on the concept of cartography, the need to depict "phenomena, facts and processes on a scaled representation surface", the exhibition "For now" shows six contemporary artistic positions whose works take up this principle of translation and develop their own language. ...
