From 2 to 11 October, our ‘Photography Online Only’ auction invites you to discover and bid on a wide range of classic photography and contemporary works. Highlights include two large-format works by Andreas Feininger, including an early exhibition print, as well as a striking portrait of a child by the American photographer Sally Mann.
Portraits of Jimi Hendrix and Iggy Pop are also featured, as are Ron Galella’s iconic paparazzi snapshots of Mick Jagger, Dustin Hoffman and Dolly Parton, and a portrait of the young Georg Baselitz, taken in 1978 by Benjamin Katz.
The auction also includes vintage prints by Henri Cartier-Bresson, Eli Lotar and Edward Steichen, a selection of photographs of Berlin from the 1920s to the 1990s, and exceptional contemporary works by Gregor Törzs, Sebastian Mayer and Harf Zimmermann.
Throughout the auction, all works can be viewed from Monday to Friday, 10 am to 6 pm, at Fasanenstr. 27 in Berlin.
