Woodcut on thin laid paper. 30,1 × 14,9 cm (53 × 42 cm) (11 ⅞ × 5 ⅞ in. (20 ⅞ × 16 ½ in.)). Signed. Catalogue raisonné: Hofmaier 171 III B d (of III B d). One of 50 impressions numbered by Günther Franke from an edition of 100 copies of this state on this paper. [3647]

Condition Report: No. 8/50. Fine, harmonious overall appearance. Good, strong print. The sheet edges without tears or losses. The corners lightly bumped with accompanying faint creases as well as, in the upper left and the lower right, each a small folded crease. In the lower left corner, a short semicircular pressure mark as well as a faint diagonal crease (3,7 cm). Outside the motif to the left, a slight printer's crease (7,5 cm). The paper in the mat window with minor time staining. In the margins as well as on the reverse, a few pale pinpoint foxing. In the left margin below the centre, a hairline horizontal printer inks mark (8,2 cm). On the reverse, in the upper corners mounted with brown paper tape onto the support cardboard, slightly pressing to the front
