Information

Watercolour and opaque white over pencil on thin glassine. Mounted on cardboard. 44,5 × 62 cm (17 ½ × 24 ⅜ in.). Signed and dated lower left: Bargheer 50. [3275] Framed

Condition Report: Fine, harmonious overall appearance. The colours fresh and vibrant. The glassine expertly fully mounted onto cardboard; thus stabilising and closing minor substance losses along the edges and two diagonal tears at the upper edge, unobtrusive to the overall appearance. The paper in the mat window with minor time staining and, very isolated, with minuscule foxing. The cardboard backing along the edges with remnants of brown paper tape from former mounting
