Oil on Hessian. 115 × 90 cm (45 ¼ × 35 ⅜ in.). Signed with brush in white on the reverse: GIRKE. Inscribed in black brush on the overlap: 5th L. Inscribed, signed, dated and titled in black brush on the stretcher: OBEN/TOP/GIRKE 1963 / "RUHIGES WEISSKONTINUUM" HANNOVER/GERMANY. There too a label of the exhibition Hanover 1969 (see below). [3014] With artist's framing
