Colour woodcut on Japan laid paper. 27,2 × 21,6 cm (36,8 × 27,7 cm) (10 ¾ × 8 ½ in. (14 ½ × 10 ⅞ in.)). Below the image typographical inscribed: PETER BEHRENS, SECHSFARBIGER ORIGINALHOLZSCHNITT PAN IV 2. Catalogue raisonné: Söhn HDO 52902-6. One of 1110 impressions from a total edition of 1213 copies. Sheet 6 (of 6) from the set: Pan IV. Vol., issue 2nd Berlin, Genossenschaft PAN, 1898. [3369] Framed

Condition Report: Very fine, harmonious overall appearance. The colours fresh. The sheet edges without tears or losses; the upper edge with minor time staining. The corners with light nicks. At the right edge above the centre, a faint shell-shaped handling crease (1,5 cm). The paper along the left margin slightly undulated due to the artist's technique. Above the motif, left of centre, a minuscule light brown foxing spot. On the reverse, in the upper corners remnants of Japan paper from former mounting; atop, remounted with Japan paper onto the support cardboard
