Woodcut on Japan paper. 42,7 × 21,7 cm (50 × 37,8 cm) (16 ¾ × 8 ½ in. (19 ⅝ × 14 ⅞ in.)). Signed and dated. Catalogue raisonné: Ebner/Gabelmann 575 H / Dube H 262. One of 24 known copies. [3426] Framed

Condition Report: Fine, harmonious overall appearance. Fine, strong print. The sheet has been washed and cleaned. At corners, the loss of substance (up to 2,3 x 4 cm) and isolated short tears expertly repaired and backed with Japan paper; unobtrusive to the overall appearance. At the left sheet edge below the centre as well as in the upper corners, each a newer short tear (to 1,2 cm). The paper in the mat window with minor time staining as well as, overall in places, with minuscule pinpoint foxing. On the reverse, three corners with remnants of former mounting with Japan paper and textile adhesive tape; in places slightly shining through to the front. In the upper corners, remounted with textile adhesive tape onto the support cardboard
