Pencil on tracing paper. 14 × 19,5 cm (5 ½ × 7 ⅝ in.). Catalogue raisonné: Claesges 49-130. Created in connection with the oil painting of the same name from 1949 (catalogue raisonné Scheibler 479). [3001]

Condition Report: Fine, harmonious overall appearance. The sheet edges without losses; at the lower right edge, a minuscule tear (0,1 x 0,2 cm) with a minuscule crease mark. The paper with minor time staining and with texhnique-related scuff marks. Along the lower edge as well as in the upper left margin, the paper slightly undulated. At the upper edge right of centre, a faint liquid stain. On the reverse, in the upper corners small remnants of acid-free transparent adhesive tape, and in the upper left, also one small liquid glue stain with paper fibres residue; these former mountings showing through to the front
