Etching and drypoint on cream paper. 36,5 × 27,7 cm (57,6 × 37,8 cm) (14 ⅜ × 10 ⅞ in. (22 ⅝ × 14 ⅞ in.)). Signed, dated, titled and inscribed: Kaltnadelradierung, einziger Probedruck, fertige Platte. (Druck vor der Auflage) [engl.: Etching and drypoint, only proof, completed plate. (Print before the edition). Catalogue raisonné: Söhn 266 (here dated differently as 1921). Proof before the edition of 50 numbered copies. [3016]

Condition Report: Proof. Fine, harmonious overall appearance. Good, strong print with distinct plate edge. The sheet edges without losses; in places lightly bumped as well as with minor time staining. At the centre of the upper edge, a short tear (0,4 cm). The paper in the margins outside the motif, in places faintly creased as well as on the right and left in the centre, each with a faint horizontal printer's crease (up to 7 cm). In the upper margin left of the centre, one small yellowish stain; in the upper right corner of the motif, a few faint munuscule foxing spots. On the reverse, in upper right corner, a paper tape rest from a former mount
