Acrylic and spray paint on chipboards. 40 × 32,2 × 10,8 cm (15 ¾ × 12 ⅝ × 4 ¼ in.). Stamped on the inside: Arbeitsgemeinschaft Retrograde Strategien. Der Grosse Rückbau. One of 300 numbered copies. In collaboration with the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Retrograde Strategien. Heilbronn, Kunstverein Heilbronn, 2006. [117]

This series was created as part of Katharina Grosse's 2001 exhibition at Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin, for which she painted and sprayed both sides of a wall measuring 12,5 x 14,5 cm. After the exhibition, the wall was dismantled and sawn up by the Retrograde Strategies working group together with students from the Berlin-Weißensee Art Academy, then taken to the Heilbronner Kunstverein, where it was transformed by carpentry apprentices from the Johann-Jakob-Widmann School into multiples in the form of headrests and reading aids.
Condition Report: No. 208/300. Fine, harmonious overall appearance. Along the edges, isolated slight scuff marks with minor partial paint losses. At the right outer side (pink), two small drilling holes. On the reverse, a few small paint losses
