Oil on pressboard. 47,5 × 34 cm (18 ¾ × 13 ⅜ in.). Dated and with the Dix monogram placed between the numbers (incised) lower right: 4 [monogram] 9. Inscribed and marked with the Dix-monogram in black chalk on the reverse: Ursus Weihnachten 1951. Catalogue raisonné: Löffler 1949/28 . [3186] Framed

Condition Report: In good condition. The colours fresh. The edges without loss of substance. Ultraviolet light reveals no retouchings or repairs. On the reverse, primed; the surface in places scuffed or with traces from the artist's workshop. In the margins, slight fingerprints. Fine, harmonious overall appearance
