Information

Three sheets: each spray paint on heavy paper. Each: 34 × 48 cm (13 ⅜ × 18 ⅞ in.). Two sheets signed in pencil on the reverse: Katharina Grosse. [3232]

Condition Report: Excellent, harmonious overall appearance. The paint fresh and luminous. The sheet edges without tears or losses; very isolated slight nicks. In a few places, faint shell-shaped crease marks; unobtrusive to the overall appearance. On the reverse, in places with faint scuff marks

This work comprises three former so-called ‘Kunstaktien’ (Art share) by Katharina Grosse from 2011. As part of a project organised by Uferhallen AG, around 120 artists each designed 25 original works in the form of these art Kunstaktien. Following the invalidation of the shares in 2021, the resulting originals now stand on their own as independent works of art.
