Information

Woodcut on heavy paper. 24,7 × 30,4 cm (9 ¾ × 12 in.). Signed. Catalogue raisonné: Schiefler/Mosel/Urban H 132. One of approx. 12 known copies on varying papers and with slightly differing dimensions. [3323]

Condition Report: Fine, harmonious overall appearance. The sheet edges partially somewhat unevenly cut and slightly unfresh, otherwise without tears or losses. The upper corners with minor nicks. Along the lower edge, several short handling creases, apparently smoothed, as well as a shell-shaped handling crease in the centre. The paper in the margins isolated slightly roughened as well as in places with minuscule pinpoint surface losses; unobtrusive to the overall appearance. In the lower area of the motif, on the left and on right, each a small brown stain slightly bleeding through from the reverse. On the reverse, at the upper edge, mounted at corners and in the centre each with Japan paper onto the support cardboard
