Information

Bronze with black patina, mounted on wooden base. Height (without base): 18,5 cm (7 ¼ in.). Monogrammed on the neck, back right: E B. Beneath the monogram to the left, the foundry mark: NOACK BERLIN. Catalogue raisonné: Cf. Laur 180 and 181. In 1930 the Galerie Alfred Flechtheim announced an edition of 20 casts, of which only a few examples were realised. This is presumed to be post-Second World War cast (cf. the version mentioned in Laur 181, with differing inscriptions and dimensions).
