Vintage. Gelatin silver print. Agfa-Brovira paper. 29,6 x 21,6 cm (30,1 x 22 cm) (11 ⅝ x 8 ½ in. (11 ⅞ x 8 ⅝ in.)). Photographer's i.e. copyright stamp on the reverse: „Foto: Martin Munkácsi, Wilmersdorf, Sächsische Str. 65, Berlin Germany...“, further photographer's i.e. copyright stamp: „Aufnahme: Martin Munkácsi, Berlin-Schöneberg, Erfurter Str. 9, Copyright vorbehalten“; two stamps: „POSTED Aug 24 1932, EDITORIAL AUDITING DEPT.“, stamp: PICTORIAL...“, therein dated in pencil: „Aug. 21.32“ and inscribed; stamp: „PUBLISHED IN N.Y.T., JAN 1955“, therein inscribed with black ballpoint pen. Eight various date stamps as well as two various numerical stamps. Inscribed in pencil by various hands as well as numbered with blue and red coloured pencil and blue ballpoint pen. Layout marks in pencil and red coloured pencil. Mounted strip of paper with typewritten information: „Phot. Martin Munkacsi (Mauritius)...", plus further mounted paper strip. Light drawings in the center of the image. Lower corners on the right and left slightly trimmed.

On the reverse a mounted strip of paper, probably a newspaper clipping, with printed text: „WHERE TOO MUCH OF A GOOD THING HAS LED TO A CRISIS IN A NATIONAL MARKET: DOCKHANDS. Loading a Ship at Rio After the Decision of the Government to Destroy Vast Surplus Stores of Coffee.".
