Steel sheet, nickel-plated. 95 x 20 x 20 cm (37 ⅜ x 7 ⅞ x 7 ⅞ in.). Enclosure: 6 variations of the mast. Set of 18 black and white photographs on paper, laid on masonite. 21,6 x 114,5 cm. Inscribed in pencil below: Variante 123456 x [in a circle].

The sculpture is a model for the larger sculpture which was installed in 1984 outside the dining hall of the Dresden Technical University. The model was prepared from nickel-plated steel sheeting by the tool maker Jürgen Dennhart.
