Oil on canvas, mounted on stretcher over paper. 95,5 x 118 cm (37 ⅝ x 46 ½ in.). Signed lower left: MKaus. Signed, titled and dated in brush and India ink on the reverse: M.KAUS MAEDCHEN MIT TURBAN, NAEHEND. 1929. On the stretcher a label, inscribed by the artist, of Württembergischer Kunstverein, Stuttgart. Catalogue raisonné: Schmitt-Wischmann 144. Framed
