Wood relief, painted. 71 x 55 cm (28 x 21 ⅝ in.). On the reverse, signed, titled and dated, upside down, with brush in red: Erich Buchholz Neue Tafel Nr. 10 23. There too signed a second time at a later date in black ballpoint pen: Erich Buchholz. Inscribed at the bottom in the margin, in pencil, upside down: Aus meinem Nachlaß. Catalogue raisonné: Ilk A 68. Panel split and glued in the centre.

In the exhibitions after 1945 the work has been erroneously titled "Neue Tafel 70".

Other than mentioned in our catalogue entry, Erich Buchholz did not exhibit in the Berlin Galerie van Diemen in 1922.
