Presumably Cornish serpentine stone (serpentinite or a stone with a high lizardite content), from southern England, cut; silver, cast, chased; bronze, silvered. 26 x 36 x 30 cm (10 ¼ x 14 ⅛ x 11 ¾ in.). BZ London 1861/62, MZ Garrard (from 1822 onwards) [see Grimwade, no. 2322].
