Watercolour, India ink, pen, bronze and gold pencil, partially over pencil, on paper of various colours, partially with relief effect. 4° and 8°. Design signed in gold-bronze on the reverse: Louis Gilbert / some marked on the reverse with the title, author and commissioner of the cover design. 109 sheets inscribed with titles, 54 sheets for book covers of size 8° (oktavo), 81 designs for spines (in various sizes), numerous notes.
