Chalk, heightened with white, on brown paper. 23,2 x 19 cm (9 ⅛ x 7 ½ in.). On the reverse at the bottom in the centre the stamp „Kupferstichsammlung Stuttgart“ (not in Lugt) and „Dublette veräussert“; inscribed in pencil: Inv.-no. C 1927/85 (crossed out). See the collection catalogue Stuttgart 1976, which contains at number 791 another portrait of Gneisenau's daughter, listed and illustrated (inv. no. C 27/84). Glue stains in the upper corners. Framed
