On original cardboard backing (pasted to the reverse) titled in pencil (presumably by the artist) and signed with red pencil: N 5 Klosterruine / z. h. Kreuz bei Meißen / am Abend / Gustav. Catalogue raisonné: The pastel will be included in the Gustav Papperitz catalogue raisonné by Dr. Matthias Lehmann, Konz. Firmly embedded in the frame. At both the top and the bottom two tears to the sheet edges. Framed
