Coloured chalk, washed, on paper (over stretcher). 66 x 101 cm (26 x 39 ¾ in.). Signed and dated upper right: Joh. Friend 1912. On the reverse on a piece of card screwed onto the frame (with sketch of a child's head in pastel) inscribed and titled in chalk: Johanna Freund Kampmann III. Stelzhamerg[asse] 4 Mädchenakt farbige Zeichnung. On a piece of paper mounted to the reverse various notes of ownership. Framed
