Oil on oak. 42,3 x 66,3 cm (16 ⅝ x 26 ⅛ in.). At the bottom centre apocryphally signed and dated: J. Breughel. / 1610 [added incorrectly at a later date, this the signature for Brueghel's drawings]. Catalogue raisonné: Accompanied by a certificate by Cornelis Hofstede de Groot, ’s-Gravenhage, dated August 1929, no. 5493, where described as "ein echtes und karakteristisches Werk von Jodocus de Momper mit figürlicher Staffage von Jan Brueghel“ (in the original) / accompanied by a certificate by Max J. Friedländer, Berlin, dated 14 March 1930, the sich the appraisal Hofstedes anschloß (in the original) / accompanied by a certificate by Klaus Ertz, Lingen, from 17. January 2015 (in the original). Panel split horizontally, old inlay. Painting sunken in the background. Framed
