Oil on canvas. 63 × 51,5 cm (24 ¾ × 20 ¼ in.). Catalogue raisonné: Accompanied by a certificate by Prof. Dr. Helmut Börsch-Supan, Berlin, dated 3 December 2006. Small retouchings. Framed

One of at least five versions, others housed for example in the Museum Georg Schäfer, Schweinfurt. According to Boetticher, Malerwerke, 1901 (no. 11), the portrait was "unter des Künstlers Mitwirkung einigemal wiederholt ["repeated a number of times with the artist's collaboration"].
