Pencil, some washed, on 39 sheets of white paper and 18 (of 23) sheets of blue-grey paper. Sketchbook: 13,5 × 18,5 cm (5 ⅜ × 7 ¼ in.). On the front and back endpapers the stamp in red: Nachlass Friedrich Preller. Two sheets monogrammed: FP. Some sheets inscribed with colour information. Some pages with minimal staining. The brown original cotton cover with clear handling marks.
