Oil on heavy, brown, primed laid paper. 29,1 × 26,1 cm (11 ½ × 10 ¼ in.). Dated in the lower centre, faintly legible (?): 9.39. In upper right corner numbered: 42. The image will be included in the catalogue raisonné of Christian Friedrich Gille by Dr. Gerd Spitzer, Dresden (in preparation). On the reverse: loose figure studies in pencil.
