Vintage. Gelatin silver print. 16,1 × 21,2 cm (6 ⅜ × 8 ⅜ in.). Signed in the image lower right in the negative proof: „Dr. R. Neuhauss“ (mirror-inverted in the positive) as well numbered by an unknown hand in pencil over numbering in the negative proof: „5.“. Contours of the biplane retraced in pencil. Laid down on original cardboard (16,8 x 21,7 cm), thereupon inscribed in black ink on the reverse: „G.W. Squire“ along with the stamp (partially illegible): „...Benecke ... Berlin-Tempelhof / Ringbahn­strasse...“. Together with the patent specification from the imperial Patent Office: „Nr. 84417, Klasse 77: Sport, Otto Lilienthal in Berlin, Flugapparat [...]. Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 29.05.1895 ab“.
