Gelatin silver print. 18,4 × 23,6 cm (7 ¼ × 9 ¼ in.). Laid down on original cardboard (45,6 x 38,2 cm), signed and dated in pencil lower right. On the reverse of the cardboard is a stamp of the Harry Lunn Gallery: „Walker Evans“, inscribed inside with pencil: „V“, „121“ and „Johnstown, Pa.“, as well as a label of the „ROBERT SCHOELKOPF GALLERY, 825 Madison Avenue New York N. Y. 10021“, containing typed artist's name, title: „Industrial Town“ as well as work information, dimensions and year. Further label with typed information regarding size of picture and year as well as numbered in pencil by another hand.
