Two-part work. Upper part: Map of the town mounted on cardboard. Lower part: Collage with fabric, thread and paper, charcoal, pencil and coloured chalk on cardboard, each in acrylic glass frame. 28,5 × 71,8 cm, 55,6 × 71,9 cm (11 ¼ × 28 ¼ in. and 21 ⅞ × 28 ¼ in.). On the upper part signed and dated in pencil lower left: Christo 1979. In the lower margin inscribed in chalk: WRAPPED REICHSTAG (PROJECT FOR DER DEUTSCHE REICHSTAG-BERLIN) PLATZ DER REPUBLIK, REICHSTAGPLATZ, SCHEIDEMANNSTR., FRIEDENS ALLEE. On the lower part inscribed with chalk at the top and on the right with dimensions and at the bottom with construction instructions.
