Laid down on original cardboard (40 × 50 cm), thereupon printed album title: "ÉTUDES PHOTOGRAPHIQUES. 1 SÉRIE, N° ...“, therein numbered in pencil by an unknown hand: "15“, as well as publisher's name: "BLANQUART ÉVRARD, ÉDITEUR“, "IMPRIMERIE PHOTOGRAPHIQUE, Blanquart-Evrard à Lille.“ Inscribed and numbered in pencil on reverse of the cardboard by various hands. Original plate N° 15 from: "Etudes photographiques, Lille 1853“.
