Information

Bronze with black-brown patina, mounted on red stone-base. Height (without base): 16,5 cm (6 ½ in.). Monogrammed on the neck on the right: RS. On the reverse at the back on the underside with the foundry mark: H.NOACK BERLIN FRIEDENAU. With a typewritten inscription label featuring Yvette Guilbert's date of birth and death on the underside. Early contemporary casting. A second bronze casting, made after 1945, is now preserved as a portrait of Yvette Guilbert at the Detroit Institute of Arts.
