Information

Brush in grey and brown, opaque white and pencil, on blue paper and framed with pencil. 38,5 × 48,9 cm (15 ⅛ × 19 ¼ in.). Catalogue raisonné: Catalogued by Dr. Sigrid Wechssler, Heidelberg, in April 2004 (as „eher Ernst als Bernhard Fries“). On the reverse: view from the Ice Chapel through the gorge on the Königssee. Pencil and somewhat white chalk. Lower right (by the artist?) inscribed: Eiskapelle.
