12 drawings in felt tip pen by an automatic drawing machine (Métamatic), each on light cardboard. Each 32 × 23,5 cm (12 ⅝ × 9 ¼ in.). 11 sheet (Métamatic 7) inscribed and signed lower right: & Tinguely. 1 sheet (Métamatic 9) signed lower right: Tinguely. Krefeld, Museum Haus Lange, 1960. Supplement: Slip cover of teh exhibition edition: Maschinenbild Haus Lange.

These 12 felt-tip pen drawings are products from Tinguely's 1959 "Métamatic"-sculptures. "Métamatic No. 7" was included in the 1960 "Jean Tinguely" exhibition at the Haus Lange in Krefeld. The automatic drawing machine used felt tip pens to design the drawings, which were presumably signed by Tinguely beforehand. The accompanying cover sheet is a fragment from the edition "Maschinenbild Haus Lange", which was published as a supplement to the exhibition catalogue..
