Steel wire and nickel components on white splattered and grey shaded canvas over wood. Figure seen from behind in splattered zinc cast, copper-plated and nickel-plated. Figure: 292,5 × 234 cm / plate: 309,5 × 257 cm × 3,2 cm (115 ⅛ × 92 ⅛ in. / plate: 121 ⅞ × 101 ⅛ in. × 1 ¼ in.). Stamped on the steel wire in the groin region : O. SCHLEMMER. HOMO. 2/10. Catalogue raisonné: Maur P 25a. One of 10 numbered copies from 1968 edition, created after the left part of the three-part wire design in the house of Dr. Rabe, Zwenkau. Further copies can be found in the Städtischen Kunsthalle Nuremberg, the Städtischen Kunsthalle Bielefeld and the University of Houston, Donation of the Cecil Blaffer Hudson Foundation among others. One wire connection sporadically detached, image surface has small preservation defects. Framed
