Original half linen-covered portfolio with 10 etchings, partially with aquatint, on French China paper on cardboard. Portfolio 48,5 × 65,5 cm (19 ⅛ × 25 ¾ in.). Catalogue raisonné: Singer 113 IV, 114 and 115 V, 116 VI, 117 – 122 IV. Here the III edition, self-published, Munich 1893 (loose accompanying title page in the original mats). The sequence of the underlying pen drawings was produced in 1878 and was first published in 1881 as a print portfolio. Continuous foxing on the prints in the margin, only partially and minimally within the image. The portfolio is slightly stained and with handling marks.
