Vintage. Gelatin silver print. 16,9 × 24,4 cm (20,7 × 25,3 cm) (6 ⅝ × 9 ⅝ in. (8 ⅛ × 10 in.)). In the sheet margin numerical notations and markings with black wax crayon. On the reverse photographer's copyright stamp: „REPRODUCE ONLY ON CONDITIONS: (1) CREDIT MUST BE GIVEN TO HENRI CARTIER-BRESSON (2) PHOTOGRAPH MUST NOT BE ALTERED BY TRIMMING" as well as a strip of paper with typewritten script: „IN DESSAU, GERMANY, AMONG LIBERATED D.P. 'S GOING HOME at INFORMER OF THE GESTAPO TRIED TO SLIP AMONG THEM. SHE IS EXPOSED BY A FORCED LABOR WOMAN SHE HAD INFORMED UPON in BERLIN [...]". Exhibition stamp: „Photographs By HENRI CARTIER-BRESSON, The Museum of Modern Art, 11 West 53 St., New York".
